I went out last night - i was a silly goosey and had an empty tummy so typically i was rat arsed after ... 2 pints - in total i definately drank 3 maybe four pints ... i dont remember my friends carrying me home and tucking me up and providing me with a basin if i had needed to spewke

lately ive been experimenting with form to try and develop a style that is unique to me ... its been a struggle and im not even close ... this painting is 'the girl' ... i love painting human form and ive been adapting it in my sketch book, mixing man with animal (not a first) its certainly fun mish mashing the two ... 'the girl' is the first put down onto canvass - and i have used oils - messier but definately better when it comes to taking your time as you can work and re-work the paint over a number of days. she's not finished - id like to incorporate more form to the ground and build the layers so that she doesnt just float on the canvass but as ive not uploaded much for a while i thought id give you a taster of what wierdness may come in the future - expect horses heads and squiddy feet perhapaps :)
i have been looking about for lots of ideas and stumbled across an amazing artist called NOMI CHI (http://www.cgunit.net/search/label/Nomi%20Chi) HER WORK IS AMAZING!!!

Im struggling at the moment to locate that 'quality' that all my inspirations demonstrate ... their unique style and ability to just create something amazing out of thin air.  Im hopeless - ill have an idea but when pen hits paper its gone :( 

im sure i just need to practice but i am an impatient one and i need this NOW!

Hi folkies :)

i hath just returned from gay paris
my oh my what an experience ... Ive never been before so the only french connection i had in the past was Route Nationale courtesy of GSCE wonderment and what id seen in the movies!
Paris is an amazing city ... It took me back with the wonderful architecture and the array of characters Id met with my lovely mother (she will talk to everyone)
I think that the one place i connected with the most was Montmartre, the home of Amelie Poulain, the town itself near Moulin Rouge is bustling with tourists and sex shops ;) but the Place du Tertre at the top of the hill is were Artists gather to paint you portrait and the local scenery. Myself and my mamsley were skint so happy to just admire the scenery but a man approached us while we were lunching and offered to make my portrait :) we had to oblige hehe
it took 5 mins and although the likeness is 'unusual' i love it.

Im off to paris tomorrow ... my first trip to the frog land - frogs are lovely though I shant digest any. My camera in hand to take some lubberly pictures

a new year ahead - but really it means nothing eh - i read something that stuck once - something that said dont live in the past or the future - they dont exist ... and if anyone says to live in the present then give them a swift belting cause technically thats gone too - remember 'this very moment'
ha belting indeed, we wont condone that kind of behavior now but yes ... enjoy this very moment :)

heres some art for your eyes... its my first attempt at a piece thats supposed to be truely 'photo real' the picture was taken on my mobile so apologies for the utterly ploppy quality ... its taking me a very long time to do, its a very big piece indeed - we'll see how it goes shall we.
